Nicole Kidman lands in India for filming
Updated at: 0254 PST,  Tuesday, March 24, 2009
Nicole Kidman lands in India for filming UDAIPUR: Hollywood beauty Nicole Kidman has landed in Udaipur (India) amid much media uproar. Having landed in the sultry city, the ‘Cold Mountain’ star has raised the temperature a notch higher.

The redheaded stunner is staying at the picturesque ‘Lake Palace Hotel’. The hotel is one of the many tourist attractions of the city, studded with historical Rajasthani cultural edifices.

Kidman is here to shoot for an ad for a ginger-ale and beverage company. Bollywood humk Arjun Rampal will feature with the redhead in the ad, a newspaper reported. The ad will be shot in Udaipur for five days.

She is also scheduled to film a few scenes of hers ‘The Eight Eonder’ movie here.

“Working with Nicole Kidman is going to be fun,” the lucky actor gushed. Rampal added, grinning, “This is a dream team to work with. I really appreciate Nicole Kidman as an actor, she’s very, very good, and I’m excited to be working with her.”

Kidman, however, does not know Rampal and is unaware that he is a Bollywood actor. The actor was recommended by Shekhar Kapoor to British producer-director Sir Ridley Scott. Kapoor and Scott had worked in hugely successful films like ‘American Gangster’ and ‘Body of Lies’.

Rampal had given up doing ads nine years ago and with an opportunity like this, he would be ready to give up acting now!
