Sports ministry is accountable to Parliament: Jilani LAHORE: Federal minister sports Peer Syed Aftab Shah Jilani said that the ministry of sports does not interfere into the job of anyone unless he follows the law. The ministry has to be accountable to the Parliament and it is working only for raising the standard of sports in the country.

Peer Aftab Shah Jilani accompanied with sports secretary Ashraf Khan and DG-Pakistan Sports Board Ameer Hamza Gilani visited the Pakistan Olympic House here today.

They held a detailed meeting with the officials of the Pakistan Olympic Association regarding SRO and other matters.

Talking with media on this occasion, the federal sports minister said that there is no such example that the sports ministry has interfered into the working of anybody. The ministry wants to see the quality of games improved in the country.
