 SINGAPORE: Oil inched higher in Asian trade Friday on bargain buying following recent losses stemming from a firmer US dollar, analysts said.

New York's main contract, light sweet crude for delivery in May, climbed 23 cents to 80.76 dollars a barrel. London's Brent North Sea crude for May was up 21 cents to 79.82 dollars per barrel.
