Kaira for intensive probe into journalists’ slaying RAWALPINDI: Federal Information Minister Qamar-uz-Zaman Kaira has said that sick-minded criminals must have committed the murder of a journalist in Rawalpindi and vowed to leave no stone unturned in investigating the heinous crime.

Kaira said that professional journalists are the assets of nation and their killing can not barred them from performing their duties vigilantly and added, “Government will assure the provision of security to journalists on every part of country at all costs.”

He announced government’s all out support for journalists belonging to print as well as electronic media during these hours of lurch. He said, “Government is fully determined to investigate thoroughly into murder of journalist in Rawalpindi and the perpetrators will be brought to justice at all costs.”

Ashfaq Gondal, Federal Secretary Information, strongly deplored the sad incident and assured journalist community of cooperation from government.
