Pakistan could export surplus rice to Saudi Arabia JEDDAH: Pakistan has a surplus of 4 lacs tons of rice and its major chunk could be exported to Saudi Arabis.

A handout issued by Pakistan embassy here said that the visiting Pakistan delegation of rice exporters in a meeting with the Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, president Adil Kaki briefed him about the Pakistani rice.

Adil Kaki on this occasion said that Saudi traders were ready to import rice from Pakistan, but for that quality would have to be upheld.
