PM to advise lifting of Governor rule soon: Rabbani LAHORE: Leader of Pakistan People’s Party, Raza Rabbani Friday said Governor rule was imposed in Punjab to plug a constitutional vacuum in the province and added that the Prime Minister would soon advise the President to lift the Governor rule.

Talking to media here in Lahore, Rabbani said politics of confrontation is not in the interest of the country. People’s Party is very much on its path of reconciliation and that it will fulfill all the promises, he added.

He said PPP will continue to further the legacy of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Shaeed Mohtarama Benazir Bhutto.
