People suffer as power outages intensify across NWFP PESHAWAR: People have suffered a lot due to persisting load-shedding in NWFP including provincial capital Peshawar.

Six-hour load shedding is being observed in various cities and districts in NWFP province including Peshawar, Chowk Nasir Khan, Charsada road, Gulbahar, outer Yakka Toot, Agha Meer Jani Shah, and Raheed Garhi areas.

Meanwhile, eight-hour power outage is being carried out in remote areas of province.

Also, load-shedding is continuous in Charsada, Mardan, Noshera, and other districts of NWFP.

Mostly business community has been suffering from power cuts besides, students who are busy in preparation for their matriculation exams.

Intensive power outages have also reportedly led to shortage of drinking water in some areas.
