Updated at: 1157 PST,  Tuesday, March 31, 2009
Police is not for to fight terrorists: IG Punjab LAHORE: Inspector General (IG) Punjab Khawaja Khalid Farooq said 50 suspects have been arrested in connection with Manawan attack.

Talking to media after Nimaz-e-Janaza of the policemen, who were martyred yesterday in Munawan police centre, IG Punjab said fighting against terrorists is not the duty of police despite that police officials fought against terrorists with courage.

He said it is easier to criticize and if any lapse has been found, I owe the responsibility of that.
