Mullen deplores Lanka team ambush SANTIAGO: Chairman US joint chief of staff Admiral Mike Mullen on Tuesday condemned rocket and hand grenade attack on Sri Lankan cricket team in Lahore.

In Santiago, the capital of Chile, he said to mediamen ambush on Sri Lankan players are most unfortunate and hoped Pakistan investigative officials to bring criminals involved in the vicious crime to justice in the earliest possible time.

He also voiced concerns over possibility of existing Taliban safe heavens in Pakistan tribal areas.
