KARACHI: Pakistanís auto industry recorded 933 percent profit during October-December 2009 as compare to its corresponding period last year, Invest Capital reported in its analytical study.
Honda car recorded 36 percent decline in its annual profit, while Indus Motors and Pak Suzuki recorded 429 and 453 percent profit respectively.
Reasons cited for this increase was jump in sales by 28 percent despite nine percent increase in prices and 10 percent decrease in marketing expenses.
Report also said that during the period production cost also jumped to 22.3 percent.
