Govt to set up counters for businessmen at airports: Malik KARACHI: Special counters would be set up at airports within two weeks in order to facilitate the business community, Interior Minister Rehman Malik said Thursday.

Speaking at a reception hosted in his honor by the business community and CPLC here, Malik said similar kind of separate counters would be set up for oversees Pakistanis also.

The federal minister said that the issuance of quick visas for foreign guests of the business community within 48 to 72 hours would be made possible.

He further said an atmosphere of law and order is vital for the investment whereas, the police are short of funds.

On this occasion, the CPLC chief Ahmed Chennai said out of 30, 000 police personnel, only 5000 to 7000 are available to serve the people.
