Sudan dismisses ICC decision against president Bashir
Updated at: 0803 PST, Thursday, March 05, 2009 KHARTOUM: Sudan said on Wednesday the decision by the International Criminal Court (ICC) to issue an arrest warrant against President Omar Hassan al-Bashir over war crimes in Darfur was part of a "neo-colonialism" plan.
Sudanese presidential adviser Mustafa Osman Ismail said the government was not surprised by the decision. "They do not want Sudan to become stable," he said.
