| Broad’s statement is bundle of lies: Ijaz Butt|

LAHORE: PCB chairman Ijaz Butt has declared ICC referee Chris Broad’s statement, regarding insufficient security arrangements, a bundle of lies here on Thursday.
Addressing at a press conference, Ijaz Butt said that the statement given by Broad is irresponsible.
The PCB chairman said that the Sri Lankan team had the same security squad which is provided to foreign teams. Security of the players is the responsibility of the government and the government has fulfilled its responsibility.
He said that the attitude of the Sri Lankan cricketers was remarkable and all of them expressed their desire to visit Pakistan again.
Butt said that Muralitharan called the van driver and gifted his shirt to him and all the Sri Lankan players said that the driver saved their lives.
Regarding the Liberty attack, the PCB chairman said that high-level investigations are going on and he would give the statement after the results.
Ijaz Butt said that he is doing his utmost to revive cricket in Pakistan.
