Upset losses for Agha, Parwani, Sajjad in National Snooker KARACHI: Former champions Khurram Agha, Naveen Parwani and top-seed Mohammad Sajjad faced upset defeats in the National Snooker Championship while former world champion Mohammad Yousuf, who obtained entry on wild card, has been ousted from the tournament after getting another defeat.

In the event going on in the Karachi Gymkhana, Imran Shahzad recorded a thrilling 4-3 victory over Mohammad Sajjad on Thursday.

Defending champion Mohammad Akmal defeated Mohammad Akmal 4-2 while Khurram agha was beaten by Rambeel Gul 3-4.

Sohail Shahzad outplayed Naveen Parwani 4-1 whereas Imran Qamar ousted Mohammad Yousuf 4-1.

The pre-quarter finals of the event will be played today.
