Security forces intensify offensive against militants PESHAWAR: The ongoing military operation against militants was intensified on Monday as security forces backed by jet planes and helicopter gunships pounded the militants’ hideouts in different areas of Darra Adamkhel.

Meanwhile, one passerby was killed and four other people were injured after militants fired a rocket on security forces. The injured were shifted to nearby hospital.

Security forces intensified operation against militants in Torchapar, Akharwar and Zarghonkhel areas of Darra Adamkhel. They bombed suspected militants’ positions.

During operation, one rocket was defused by military engineers.
