Updated at: 1548 PST,  Thursday, April 15, 2010
Sania, Shoaib to host star-studded reception today NEW DELHI: The reception ceremony of Sania and Shoaib is all set to take place today at the Taj Krishna Hotel in Hyderabad. And if sources are to be believed, in the elite guest list are included A-list Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan.

It is believed that Mirzas expect the occasion to be as grand as possible.

In the list of events, also lined up is a sizzling salsa performance by the 2-day-old wedded couple. Talat Aziz, the renowned ghazal singer (also Sania`s uncle) will sing ghazals for the sangeet ceremony.

It is believed that Aziz has composed a ghazal especially for Sania and Shoaib. Sania’s good friend and model-turned-actress Rakshanda Khan is also likely to perform at the sangeet.

Earlier, Sania Mirza’s mehendi ceremony was solemnised yesterday. Sania was seen wearing a resplendent pink dress and Shoaib Malik was in an emerald green kurta. Both were welcomed by Sania’s parents, and relatives from both the sides blessed the couple for a happy wedded life ahead.

According to the sources, the occasion might also grace the presence of former tennis partners Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupati and some other guest who are very close to the Mirza family and common friends of Sania and Shoaib

Nevertheless, the evening will indeed be no less than a star-studded one!
