Pak facing terrorism over internal problems: Miliband GLASGOW: Pakistan is facing militancy from its internal problems, British Foreign Secretary David Miliband said on Friday.

Addressing a ceremony here, Miliband said: “The presence of US and British troops in Afghanistan in not the reason behind terrorism.”

He said that Pakistan is facing a grave threat of terrorism due to its internal issues.

“Regular military interventions have waned the democratic institutions and the democracy in Pakistan.”

He further said PPP former Benazir Bhutto had also fallen victim to the terrorism.

The British Foreign Secretary quoted President Asif Ali Zardari saying that war against terrorism is Pakistan’s own war.
