| GEO World | | Quake hits central Afghanistan | Updated at: 0937 PST, Monday, April 19, 2010 KABUL: A 5.3-magnitude earthquake hit central Afghanistan early Monday, the US Geological Survey said.
The quake, which struck at 00:58 (2028 GMT Sunday), was centered 191 kilometers (119 miles) northwest of Kabul at a relatively shallow depth of 10 kilometers, USGS said.
