 Oil falls $1 amid rising dollar, growing caution

 PERTH: Oil fell more than $1 towards $49 a barrel on Monday, weighed down by a rising U.S. dollar and growing investor caution on the global economy.

U.S. crude for May delivery fell $1.03 to $49.30 by 0220 GMT. London Brent crude fell 86 cents to $52.49.
