Updated at: 0106 PST,  Wednesday, April 21, 2010
Actor Babbar Shah says he is Veena’s husband LAHORE: In another twist amid ongoing hot issue concerning with the marriage of actress Veena Malik, her former friend and an actor Babbar Shah has claimed to be her husband and went on saying, he could even produce his Nikkah document, Geo news reported Tuesday.

I am sure enough of being spouse of Veena and can even produce Nikkah document besides other proofs if cricketer Mohammed Asif did the same, he said to mediamen.

Talking to newsmen at his residence in Lahore, actor Babbar, expressing his astonishment over eruption of rumor regarding Veena Malik and Mohammed Asif marriage, said Veena already got married with me one year ago in presence of a total of 22 persons who bore witness of our wedding.

“I have got concrete evidences and can surface them at any time”, he noted.

“I can make striking revelations in connection with my marriage with Veena if I am forcefully implicated in this scandal any further but my family has advised me to keep this matter at an arm’s length”, he maintained.

It may be mentioned Babbar Shah also provided with media some proofs including mobile videos, telephonic conversations and pictures relating to his relations with Veena Malik, however, a few among them were unethical enough to bring on-air.
