LAHORE: Lahore Arts Council has extended financial assistance of Rs 125000 to the family of Babu Baral who passed away recently.
LAC sources said on Thursday that the bereaved family was suffering financial crisis and on the recommendation of Chairman LAC, Atta-ul-Haque Qasmi, a cheque of the given amount was handed over to Baral's wife.
Babu,the popular stage comedian, died on April 15 at the age of 55 after a prolonged fight with hepatitis and finally cancer. (APP) |
