Law Ministry issues IHC notification ISLAMABAD: Law Ministry issued a notification regarding the establishment of Islamabad High Court (IHC), Geo News reported Thursday.

Federal Law Minister Babar Awan told this while addressing Islamabad High Court Bar here.

He said the court will begin functioning as soon as the judges are appointed, adding the judges will be taken from all provinces, FATA and Gilgit-Baltistan.

The federal minister said the PM also sanctioned setting up two accountability courts as well, which would be set up in the federal capital.

Babar Awan said the Charter of Democracy (CoD) also stipulates the establishment of the Judicial Commission for appointments of judges.
