DUBAI: Australian captain Michael Clarke said that Pakistan won the first match of the series as their bowling was very good.
He said that the Australians are not scared of spinners and neither spinners are their weakness.
Talking with media representatives after the first One-day International in Dubai, the Australia’s captain said that the cause of the defeat in the opening match was the magnificent bowling by the rivals.
He said that his batsmen would study television footage in a bid to get the edge on a threatening Pakistani spin attack in the second one-day international here Friday. Leg-spinner Shahid Afridi took a career-best 6-38 and off-spinner Saeed Ajmal chipped in with 2-19 to bundle Australia out for a lowly 168 in the first match here Wednesday. |  |
