 Standoff between PIA management, PALPA resolved

Standoff between PIA management, PALPA resolved ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Airline Pilots' Association (PALPA) announced to call off protests after successful negotiations with Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) management on Thursday.

According to sources, talks between PALPA and PIA management were held at the Ministry of Defence (MoD). The PALPA announced to end protests after the meeting. The PALPA had demanded that the government should increase pilots’ salaries by 35 percent.

Due to pilots’ strike, domestic and international flight operations were affected and passengers had to suffer.
