Updated at: 1955 PST,  Saturday, April 24, 2010
Modi refuses to resign MUMBAI: Lalit Modi on Saturday has refused to resign as commissioner Indian Premier League (IPL).

He said he would soon bring out all facts.

According to an Indian TV channel, Modi said that there is a pressure on him to resign but he would not step down.

He said that many fabricated news about him are circulating but he would soon reveal all the facts.

Modi said that what he did in the past four years has been there for all the people.

The IPL commissioner said that let the board remove him but he would not resign himself.

Charges of match-fixing and money-laundering have been labeled on Lalit Modi.

Earlier, Indian media claimed that Modi had agreed to resign.

Meanwhile, co-partners of Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals Shahrukh Khan and Shilpa Shetty have announced to support Modi.
