Updated at: 2044 PST,  Tuesday, April 28, 2009
Shabana Azmi puts on 25 kg for new role MUMBAI: Shabana Azmi is known for supporting her director’s vision and bowing to the demands of her character. Shabana Azmi More Pics

After shaving her head for Deepa Mehta’s Water, Shabana is at it once again. She has put on 25 kg for her role in Gurinder Chadha’s film, It’s a Wonderful Afterlife.

Now hugely overweight, she is having the time of her life playing a hysterical Punjabi woman in the film.
