HRA to stage protest giants Swat’s barbarianism PESHAWAR: The Human Rights Alliance (HRA) has announced on Friday to hold protest march in front of Peshawar press club today (Saturday) against the flogging of a 17-year-old girl in Swat Valley by Taliban.

The footage, aired on Geo news, displayed a young girl being wiped and lashed in public while hundreds of onlookers were amusing from the heinous crime scene in Swat Valley.

“There is no room for such punishments according to Islamabad’s laws, rules and regulations”, said in a press handout released by (HRA) here while, “The alliance would stage protest march in front of Peshawar press club against the barbaric torture perpetrated in Swat Valley”, press release added.
