Suicide blast kills 8 FC personnel in Islamabad ISLAMABAD: Eight FC personnel were killed and 5 others injured when a suicide bomber blew himself up at the camp of Frontier Constabulary (FC) in Sector F-7/3 Margala Road, Islamabad on Saturday.

DIG Islamabad Binyamin has confirmed eight deaths in the incident.

According to SSP Tahir Alam, the FC personnel were taking dinner when the attacker entered the camp and blew himself up, killing eight of the security men and injuring several others.

He said one suspect was arrested from the blast site.

“The blast was a suicide attack,” said Umer Hayat, an FC man.

The blast site is located near an office of UN and residences of former amir Jamat-e-Islami, Qazi Hussain Ahmed and Dr. Abdul Qadir Khan are also not far from here.

The administration has issued the order of shoot to kill.

The injured were shifted to nearby hospitals in ambulances.
