Pak Railways shelves plan to start marriage train
Updated at: 2055 PST,  Thursday, April 08, 2010
LAHORE: The Pakistan Railways has postponed a plan to start a marriage train for the time being.

According to railways authorities, they cannot execute the plan due to shortage of the passenger coaches.

The announcement in this regard was made by Minister Sheikh Rashid during his tenure as the Railways Minister and the said train was shown to media also.

The present Railways Minister Ghulam Ahmed Bilour would often mention the train, but he failed to materialize his much-publicized plan.
