Action in Lower Dir area, Darmal leaves 7 dead DIR: Security forces actions in Lower Dir area, Darmal left seven dead, while ten Levies men including Subedar were kidnapped from Prav check post of Upper Dir and curfew relaxation up to 1.00 P.M. afternoon at Maidan has been announced.

Sources said that security forces overnight actions against the militants at Darmal in Lower Dir area claimed seven dead, while some unknown persons have kidnapped ten Levies men including Subedar from Prav check post of Upper Dir.

Security forces heavy guns shelling on the militants’ hideouts continued overnight at Chinarkot area of Tehsil Maidan, which destroyed several hideouts of the militants. Gunship helicopters yesterday evening shelled the militants’ hideouts at Tehsil Chakdara, which injured four children also. Armed persons have set up check post on G.T. Road in Chakdara area and the moving vehicles were being searched. Curfew relaxation from 8.00 A.M. in the morning to 1.00 P.M. in Tehsil Maidan has been announced.
