India are next at 9/2 followed by Sri Lanka at the odds of 11/2.

Defending champions Pakistan are at a joint fifth with England and West Indies as 9/1 favourites to come clean in the event.

Australia have a strong batting line up with David Warner (12/1) and Shane Watson (12/1). Mitchell Johnson (16/1 as the top bowler), Dirk Nannes (16/1) and Shaun Tait (20/1) combine to make a fearsome attack.

South African captain Graeme Smith — 16/1 favourite as top batsman — has a wealth of batting talent. Jacques Kallis (10/1) is expected to carry on his Indian Players League (IPL) form where he finished among the top run getters.

Players such as AB de Villiers (33/1), Herschelle Gibbs (40/1) and Loots Bosman (28/1) should all contribute with the bat.
