Qureshi says India has no link with Pak-Afghan transit trade ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that India has no connection with the Pakistan-Afghanistan transit trade pact.

Speaking to newsmen here on Wednesday, the foreign minister said: “The United States is satisfied with Swat operation. He said that the results of the recently concluded US visit would show up soon.

“We have made it clear to the US that Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal are secure,” he said.

Qureshi further said that Kerry-Lugar bill would triple US aid to Pakistan's government to $1.5 billion a year.

About Pak-Afghan trade pact, the foreign minister clarified that India has no connection with the agreement.

“Islamabad is under no threat. We will do, whatever, we can in the national interest,” Qureshi added.
