 NATO plane crashes in Afghanistan
Updated at: 1339 PST,  Thursday, May 14, 2009
KABUL: A NATO military plane crashed after take-off in southern Afghanistan on Thursday and the pilot survived after ejecting, but it was not immediately clear if there were other casualties, the force said.

The crash was not caused by "enemy action," a media officer for the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) told. But the reason for the incident was being investigated, he said. "The pilot is at an ISAF medical facility after ejecting," he said. "We don't have information about other casualties."
