ECP asked to hold LB elections KARACHI: Federal government has written a letter to Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for holding local bodies elections, Abdul Razzaq A. Thahim, Federal Minister for Local Government and Rural Development told journalists here today.

He was addressing media men after a ceremony organized by Municipal Training and Research Institute (MTRI).

"Nadra officials have assured me of issuing identity cards before elections," the minister said.
