 THATTA: A Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) annexed with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in Thatta district has survived a life attack but her driver sustained injuries in the process, Geo news reported Saturday.
According to sources, the attack was launched near Mirpur Bathoro area within the limits of Thatta district; wherein MQM’s member Sindh assembly namely Heer Soho escaped unharmed meanwhile, her driver received injuries.
According to MPA Heer, some unidentified gunmen were in pursuit of her vehicle from Sujawal area, who opened fire on her car near Mirpur Bathoro, leaving her car partially damaged and driver wounded but luckily she had a close shave.
Denouncing strongly the life attempt on party’s MPA, the members MQM’s coordination committee have termed the incident a nefarious conspiracy for disruption of peace in Sindh province. |  |
