 LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday granted bail to former Test cricketer Ijaz Ahmad in a bogus cheque case.
The court has directed Ijaz Ahmed to submit bail bonds of Rs.two lacs each.
A case had been registered against Ijaz Ahmed for issuing two bogus cheques of Rs10m and Rs0.5m respectively to two local property dealers.
Senior lawyer Ashtar Ausaf has moved the bail application before the LHC on behalf of Ijaz.
