Five militants killed in Malakand operation PESHAWAR: Security forces continued battling militants in various areas of Malakand division on Wednesday. At least five militants were killed during security forces’ cordon and search operation.

Curfew, which was earlier relaxed from 7am to 2pm, has been imposed again in Tehsil Maidan. The resident continued fleeing their homes. Security forces continued pounding the hideouts of militants in Tehsil Bari Kot of Swat.

The electricity and gas supply in Swat has been suspended for the last six days in the curfew which has severly affected the people.
