 LAHORE: Coach Pakistan cricket team Intikhab Alam said that fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar cannot play the Tweenty20 World Cup even if he is declared fir after ten days.
According to the coach of the national cricket team, the Pakistan Cricket Board has sent a request to the ICC for a substitute of Shoaib Akhtar and therefore it is not possible for his returning to the national team.
Intikhab said that the advice for Shoaib Akhtar’s re-checkup after ten days was given by the medical board but the result of this checkup is not a guarantee for his coming back in the team.
Intikhab Alam rejected this impression that dropping Shoaib Akhtar was his individual decision. |  |
