Armed assault on Geo/Jang is ‘attack on free press’: MQM KARACHI: The Rabita Committee of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has said that the armed attack on the offices of Geo/Jang is tantamount to attack on freedom of press.

MQM leader Faisal Sabzwari, reacting to the armed attack on the offices of Geo/Jang and holding the journalists under seige, said MQM condemns the incident, terming illegal the act of barging into an office and ransacking it.

He expressed his amazement at the non-action on part of the administration. We condemn the harassment of journalists, he added.
