KARACHI: Chairperson of the Karachi Port Trust, Nasreen Haq, has said that the Oil Tankers Association (OTA) had itself insisted to have uneven land as parking area
In a chat with Geo correspondent Wali Khab Babar, the KPT chairperson said that arrangements were being made to provide 69, 000 square yards as a parking area for oil tankers. But the oil tankers’ owner in a hasty decision shifted their vehicles at an incomplete parking land.
He said that the KPT had prepared a plan to build a parking area at the cost of Rs300 million. But the plan could not executed unless oil tankers were removed. |  |
