ISLAMABAD: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) sanctioned to raise the power tariffs, Geo News reported Saturday.
A notification in this regard has been issued by the Nepra here to be in force from April 2010.
According to the notification, a 57-paisa hike was approved in March 2010; later on, the Nepra raised 20 paisa per unit, which totaled upto 77-paisa raise in the power tariffs.
According to the Nepra notification, the raise will be applicable to the consumers utilizing over 100 units per month. |  |
