MUMBAI: Shilpa Shetty is hydrophobic. She made this dramatic revelation to the world on an Indian TV channel for which she is currently judging a dance talent show, Zara Nachke Dikha.
She confessed that has always been mighty scared of water and that’s why she has never done a water scene in any of her movies.
A source on the sets where Shilpa revealed this secret of her life says, “In a chat session of the show, all the contestants and judges were asked to say one thing about themselves that the world didn’t know. Shilpa revealed that one fear she has had was of water and that she didn’t even know how to swim.”
Shilpa confirms, “I am not scared of heights and gladly did the Baazigar scene with Shah Rukh Khan where I had to be thrown off the building, but just couldn’t get myself to do anything in water.”
The informer further adds, “Shilpa has sported bikini blouses and even danced on the beach like in Dostana but no one has even noticed that she hasn’t done even a single scene in any movie that involves water. But Shilpa says that she is fighting her phobia and is expected to get over it soon.” |  |
