BEIJING: Interior Minister Rehman Malik Thursday assured that Pakistan would extend all out cooperation to the US in the latter’s investigation into the Times Square botched bomb attack bid.
In an interview to a foreign news agency, Rehman said although Pakistan has not yet received any formal request for help into the New York failed attack probe, it is ready to provide every possible support to the US in this regard.
He thought it unlikely that a Pakistani-American arrested over a failed plot to bomb New York's Times Square had acted alone.
Faisal Shahzad, 30, was arrested on Monday night after he was removed from an Emirates plane at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport that was about to depart for Dubai. He had been on his way back to Pakistan.
