Mashaal says Hamas will not abandon struggle DAMASCUS: Exiled Hamas supremo Khaled Mashaal has denied reports that his party wants to abandon the course of struggle.

In a statement issued here on Wednesday, Mashaal blamed a US newspaper for manipulating facts in an interview. He said his party will never abandon its manifesto or shun struggle. Mashaal said the Palestinians will continue struggling against the Israeli occupation.
