 NEW DELHI: Foreign Ministers of Pakistan and India will hold talks on telephone today to start new era of bilateral relations.
Indian External Affairs Minister S M Krishna on Thursday said he would talk to his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Friday.
Bringing about a thaw in Indo-Pak ties, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his Pakistani counterpart Yousuf Raza Gilani had last week agreed to think afresh on the way forward. The two leaders had agreed that foreign ministers and foreign secretaries of both the countries would talk and work out the modalities to pave the way for dialogue.
Krishna told the Rajya Sabha that New Delhi agreed to enter into a dialogue with Islamabad, as there had been a “transformation” in ties.
