Kolkata Knight Riders beat Bangalore Royal Challengers by 5 runs KOLKATA: In an exciting match of the Indian Premier League, Kolkata Knight Riders beat Bangalore Royal Challengers by 5 runs.

Kolkata Knight Riders decided to bat first after winning the toss. Due to rain, the match was limited to only 16 overs. David Hussey scored 26; Ganguly 20 and Kartik scored 17 runs. Kolkata Knight Riders managed to score 129 thus setting 130 runs target for Bangalore Royal Challengers.

From Bangalore Royal Challengers, Dale Steyn got 3 wickets while Zaheer Khan and Kumar got one wicket each. In 4th over, Chanderpaul got out at the bowling of Ashant Sharma. In another over, Arun Kumar got run out by Hog, he made 22 runs out of 17 balls. Rahul Dravid was clean bowled by KKR skipper Sourav Ganguly in 10th over. Bangalore Royal Challengers managed to score 124 runs at the loss of 4 wickets in 16 overs.
