Major amid 13 killed at Mohamand Agency Afghan forces attack PESHAWAR: The bodies of thirteen security officials killed during Afghan forces attack have been recovered whereas 40 officials are reported missing.

According to official sources, Afghan forces attacked Chopara check post with automatic and heavy weapons near Afghan border in Mohmand Agency late Tuesday night killing 13 security officials including Major Akbar. Security forces had retaliated the attack.

Sources said that fifty security personnel were deputed in Gorapanra area near Chopara and only ten of them came into contact after the attack.

Eyewitnesses said that two jets of coalition forces violated Pakistani air space and carried out bombardment in Bahadu Qila and Golono Qila areas. However, no loss of life was reported in the incident.
