 Iran ends import duty on Pakistani rice

 PARIS: Iran has announced to quit import duty on Pakistani rice here on Thursday to improvise the trade ties with Pakistan.

The Iran foreign minister Manouchehr Mottaki unveiled this during a meeting with his Pakistan counterpart Shah Mehmood Qureshi. Pakistan foreign minister is attending an Internationl conference regarding Afghanistan here in Paris told foreign office.

The meeting also exchanded views on bilateral ties as well as the Pak-Iran gas pipe line project.

The foreign minister of Pakistan urged that the construction on Pak-Iran gas pipe line project should get under way soon and the trade between both the neighbouring countries should become strenthened.
