NOTTINGHAM: South Africa's captain Graeme Smith won the toss and elected to bat against India in the group E Super Eights match of the World Twenty20 at Trent Bridge here on Tuesday. South Africa have already qualified for the semi-finals, while defending champions India are out of the reckoning after losing their previous two games against the West Indies and England. The West Indies, the other semi-finalist from the group, must wait till the end of the match to know their opponents in the last four.
