Pakistan give 150-run target to Proteas NOTTINGHAM: Pakistan gave 150-run target to South Africa in the World Twenty20 first semi-final at Trent Bridge here on Thursday.

Pakistan made a good start and were 43-2 after five overs, 68-2 after 10 overs and they were 120-3 after 15 overs. Pakistan hit 149 runs in the appointed 20 runs.

The highest scorer from Pakistan was Shahid who hit 51 from 34 balls with eight 4s, followed by Shoaib Malik with 34 runs.

From South African side, DW Steyn, WD Parnell, RE van der Merwe and JP Duminy took one wicket each.
